Tribute Gabion updated.jpgThrough Valley’s Tribute Program, we have the privilege of honoring remarkable individuals and caregivers connected to Valley who have passed away, clinics and teams that are no longer operating, and notable people and events in Valley’s history in a lasting and meaningful way.

The newly installed Tribute gabion in the Healing Garden, located on Valley’s main hospital campus, is slated to be filled with blown glass floats in tranquil sea glass colors, in memoriam of the people, teams and events that have shaped Valley’s ability to care for our community like family.

Tribute packages are available for $300 each and include the following one-of-a-kind items:

  • A blown glass float installed in the Tribute gabion
  • Listing on all signage recognizing honorees
  • A commemorative blown glass float to present to a loved one, friend or colleague in recognition of the individual, team or event being honored
  • A keepsake blown glass heart in remembrance of the individual team or event

Thanks to generous community support, donations raised through this program will be reinvested in the Healing Garden to continue to enhance this peaceful space for all to enjoy for years to come.

The positive contributions each of the honorees has had on Valley, and our South King County community, are significant and we are proud to recognize them through our Tribute Program.

The following remarkable individuals, clinics and teams have been recognized as part of Valley’s Tribute Program as of July 27, 2022. Remarkable individuals and caregivers who have made an impact or passed away are shown in blue, clinics and teams no longer operating are shown in teal, and notable events in Valley's history in a lasting and meaningful way are shown in purple.

*As Valley’s first employed physician, Dr. Bob’s vision and his selfless devotion to his patients and to his community helped make Valley what it is today and inspired our Tribute Program. Recognizing his love for water and the outdoors, the first 33 blue-green blown glass floats in the structure were donated by community members in memory of him.
